Cloudflare, an American-based popular content delivery network (CDN) for a number of organizations, recently stated that it is suffering from a massive outage. The incident reportedly took down a number of websites of multiple crypto-related services, including FTX, Omegle, Discord, DoorDash, Crunchyroll, NordVPN, and Feedly.
The cryptocurrency exchange FTX was one of the first to share the news on its Twitter account, stating that the firm’s website is “going to be hard to access for many users.”

Cloudflare, founded in 2010 in San Francisco, is a DDoS mitigation organization that provides various security services. The content delivery network (CDN) is led by Matthew Prince, Lee Holloway, and Michelle Zatlyn.
However, after several hours, the infrastructure provider managed to take care of the “widespread” outage that affected “a lot of pieces,” according to the CEO of Cloudflare John Graham-Cumming.
In fact, this isn’t the first occurrence of such an incident. Last year, Cloudflare also went down and caused a crash of many significant websites, including Bitfinex.
In other news, on May 16, amid the ongoing crypto ecosystem’s shift from Proof-of-Work (PoW) to Proof-of-Stake (PoS), the internet security company announced that it would roll out Ethereum (ETH) validator nodes in the near future.
